“I have been painting for approximately 10 years. However, since moving to Muriwai 4 years ago with my family, I have taken painting more seriously. I joined the Muriwai Arts Collective (MAOS), and found this to be a hugely positive move forward, prompting me to exhibit my work and be involved in lasts years ‘Open Studio’ art trail. Some pretty big steps which I might add, were slightly terrifying at the time, but hugely rewarding and successful..”
